Tamara Andrea Peña Porras

(Bogotá, 1971) Journalist and Social Communicator. M.Sc. in Latin-American Literature, she also holds and a degree in International Policy. Tamara works as an editor for printed and digital media. She is member of Comunidad del Sur (South Community), a community organization in Bogotá. Currently (2004), she is working on a research about the impact of new technologies in citizen?s community participation. As part of her responsibilities in Comunidad del Sur, she edited the manuals for the Municipal Youth Councils of Bogotá.
